Description

Whether we realize it or not, we each have a relationship with our own self. Often, we are our worst enemy. In her new book, Your Body, Your Best Friend: End the Confidence-Crushing Pursuit of Unrealistic Beauty Standards and Embrace Your True Power, Erica Mather has us wonder how different life would be if we truly befriended ourselves. In a society overwhelmed with messages of how women should be and appear, it’s easy to internalize these ideas and become our own harshest critics. It’s time for a change.
