Great sex is mindful sex. When we meet the fullness of a moment with our attention and focus, rather than trying to get somewhere or worrying about whether we're doing something right, so much richness greets us. But we get stuck in mindless sex. After the initial chemical cocktail of arousal and attraction wears off, as it inevitably does, most couples end up feeling disappointed and disenchanted. In Maci Daye’s new book, Passion and Presence: A Couple's Guide to Awakened Intimacy and Mindful Sex, we find a pathway to re-enchantment.
